From Broadway to Brides: a Duet proposal story…

The Couple
We give our regards to [Steps on] Broadway for introducing our next newly engaged couple, and dazzling duet Anastasia and Ariel! These two lovely ladies met while both doing a work-study program at a local dance studio here in NYC. Their work and dance schedules began to coordinate and soon enough they became great friends. 3 years later and the two have not only become each other’s muses, but adventure partners traveling the world, and now soon-to-be forever partners in love and life.
The Proposals
Anastasia proposed to Ariel earlier this year by curating a sweet and simple indoor picnic -due to the looming thunderstorm outside, but nevertheless was perfect, and Ariel said yes!
Ariel proposed to Anastasia last month in her true artistic style by filming a dance reel for her website. In the final take, Ariel diverged from the choreography and presented the ring instead of a bouquet to her future bride- Anastasia of course accepted!
The Rings
For each of their rings, they consulted with G.St’s own sales specialist Molly who offered her expertise. Ariel was unsure about the style of ring she wanted, so she tried on a few options and landed on two that she loved! That is where Molly stepped in and offered the perfect solution- incorporate details from each style to create one stunning ring, in which she delivered! The finalized ring is our Willett style featuring marquise and round brilliant diamond side stones, customized with a crown setting.
Anastasia, on the other hand, had an inspiration photo saved of a ring in hopes of creating something similar. To her pleasant surprise, Molly shared that we could create a custom piece that captured all she desired- which certainly excited Anastasia. After a stone selection appointment, the couple chose a gorgeous London Blue Topaz that shared the vibrant hue of the inspiration ring, which was a teal sapphire. Accompanied by diamond accents on the shank and a halo surrounding the center stone, Anastasia’s dream ring became a reality.
They both expressed that seeing the final rings for the first time lead to a “this-is-really-happening” joyous reaction. “We’re both very happy to have something to treasure and to mark this step in our relationship and our commitment to our future.”
